Find An Internship

There are a vast number of resources available to students. Anyone looking for a job or an internship is less likely to find it by sending numerous résumés out to the universe. A targeted approach, while more time consuming, is more productive. It is recommended that you start preparing for your search at least 2 QUARTERS BEFORE you plan on doing the internship.



  • Internship specific sites like InternMatch
  • Social media sites for employers – employers will post positions in LinkedIn, on Facebook or Twitter
  • Organization sites, home page (check links, usually located at the bottom, like "Careers", "Jobs", or even "About Us")


  • Professional or trade associations that are industry specific
  • Career Fairs (both on and off campus)
  • Industry Conventions
