General Information:

International Students have special requirements when applying for positions within the United States. This section of our web site will assist you with many of your questions.  We also encourage you to meet with our Career Counselor or Placement Counselor if you have further questions. International Students are eligible to access all the services of the Career Development Center.

In addition to reading the "Interviewing" and "Resumes" section of this web site, you will find some specialized information for International Students by clicking on the above links.

The basic process for finding employment in the United States is:

  • Research jobs and request information
  • Apply for a position by submitting your resume and cover letter
  • Interview for the position
  • Send a typed, thank you letter after the interview
