An integral part of establishing relationships with CSUSB students is developing relationships with CSUSB faculty, because you have day-to-day contact with our students, as well as academic discipline expertise. We encourage you to utilize the CSUSB Career Center to help you identify and plan opportunities for you to integrate career education into your curriculum. On-Campus Student Employment
On-campus offices wishing to share their student employment listing on our job board may do so by filling out the form via the link below. All positions must meet student employment and federal work study (if applicable) guidelines. Once your listing has been posted, a Career Center student assistant will follow up with the contact indicated and provide a Job ID # for your reference. It may take up to two business days for your listing to be posted. For questions, please contact the Career Center at x75250.
Please note: Faculty members seeking to hire instructional, teaching and graduate assistants for classes MUST work directly with their department to hire students. Information and questions regarding instructional, teaching and graduate assistants should be directed to the office of Academic Personnel - academicpersonnel.csusb.edu
Submissions received for instructional, teaching and graduate assistants will be listed on CareerLaunch for advertisement purposes only.
Faculty must work directly with their department to hire students - a CareerLaunch Job ID # is not required as part of this specific hiring process.
Once your listing has been posted to our job board, you will receive e-mails regarding student applications. These system messages will come from “Handshake” (email@example.com) – this is the vendor for the CareerLaunch platform, so please don't disregard these e-mails as spam. A sample e-mail image is provided below. To download the application, click the link that reads "Application Package"
Once your position has closed, you will receive one final e-mail with a ZIP file that contains every application received.
